Neenah Soccer Club's Academy program is designed to provide enhanced training to players in the 7U and 10U age groups interested in playing at a higher level of competition in the future. The program serves as a bridge between recreational and competitive soccer, with an emphasis on individual player development through improved technical skills and tactical development, building a foundation for future success. The goal is to enrich each player's already developing love for and high interest in the game.
Players who choose Academy soccer should have a high interest in and commitment to learning the game, improving and playing at a higher level of competition in the future. Parents of interested players should evaluate their players physical and mental maturity, level of interest and readiness for commitment prior to registering for the program.
Academy players will continue to develop by playing and learning all field positions, while increasing their problem-solving skills on the field. Neenah Soccer Club follows the guidelins from the US Youth Soccer Assocation to enhance the physical, social and psychological development of each player. At this level, players are coached by professionally licensed coaches and parent volunteers. All players in the same age group practice together in a pool and can be split up in different ways on game days, and will participate in East Central Academy league on Saturdays against other local clubs. Travel for games can range from Oshkosh to Green Bay.

Upon registering, you will be charged a $50 buyout fee per player (Family maximum $100), which will be reimbursed when your volunteer obligation has been fulfilled. Academy player volunteer hours MUST be fulfilled at the Scheels Flatgrass Showdown Tournament or Copia Cup Tournament. You can read more about our volunteer policy here.
