Neenah SC relies heavily on volunteers to keep programs affordable. All spring recreational, academy and classic program families are required to volunteer for two hours per player prior to the end of each soccer season (July 31). Classic and Academy families are required to volunteer their hours during the Flatgrass Showdown tournament.
Volunteering With Neenah SC
Upon fulfilling your required volunteer hours, Neenah Soccer Club will reimburse $50/player ($100 family maximum) that was paid during registration. Thank you for your understanding, and for your work and your time, and for being a part of what makes our club so great!
Neenah Soccer Club also recently introduced a benefit structure for those who choose to donate their time and energy to the club in the form of serving on the Board or Committees. Please see below for additional information.
Volunteer Information
When you register your player for the Academy, Classic or Spring Recreational programs, you will be charged a $50 per player fee ($100 maximum per family). Note: If you are registering more than two players, please contact the club @ Info@neenahsoccerclub.org
Throughout the year, you will be offered a number of different opportunities to volunteer and serve your required two (2) hours to earn back your volunteer reimbursement. Classic and Academy families are required to fulfill their hours either at Copia Cup in the fall or the Flatgrass Showdown in May. Communication about all opportunities will be sent via playmetrics. Please keep your eyes peeled, as volunteer spots fill up quickly! If you have questions or concerns, please contact Erin Johnson.
If volunteer hours are not fulfilled by the end of the season (July 31st), your volunteer fee will go toward the NSC Scholarship program. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Opportunities
Equipment Distribution Helper: Assist Equipment Director with organizing and distributing the equipment (balls, cones, pinnies, etc.) Help with the collection of equipment at the end of the season. Also, assist with organizing the shed and taking an inventory of club supplies.
Field Maintenance Helper: Assist with set-up of fields in the spring/tear-down in the fall. Stripe the fields throughout the season.
Flatgrass Tournament Support: Support in various areas - traffic, set-up, tear-down, registration, etc. This could involve being on the committee, being a coordinator, or a helper.
- Traffic– Help to maintain the flow of traffic in and out of the facility.
- Set-Up– Help with set-up of various areas for the event.
- Tear-Down– Help with the cleanup of various areas for the event.
- Registration– Help register teams for the tournament.
- Fields– Help to set up the fields for the tournament such as moving goal posts or striping the fields.
- Communications – Help with assembling the flyer/publications for the tournament.
